2017年11月的气旋。热带气旋查帕克袭击了爪哇岛东南部地区,带来强风和强降雨。在东爪哇省和日惹特区,降雨量是2016年同期正常降雨量的两倍多,气旋造成大面积洪水、局部山体滑坡,破坏严重。

2017年8月的火山爆发。印尼巴厘岛的阿贡火山爆发,导致了爆炸性喷发、火山碎屑流、火山泥流和熔岩流,共记录到了数十次轻微的火山爆发和近50次浅源地震。一个月后,印尼火山学和地质灾害减灾中心将阿贡火山情况等级升至四级(红色警报—危险等级),靠近火山地区的约14.3万人被安置到疏散中心。

2016年12月的地震。苏门答腊岛亚齐省皮迪查亚区发生6.4级地震,造成60人死亡,89个村庄受灾。印尼红十字会向灾区提供了应急响应和早期恢复援助。

2015年11月的洪水和山体滑坡。11月12日至16日,暴雨导致西爪哇、中爪哇、西苏门答腊和雅加达多个地区发生洪水。在茂物地区,成千上万的房屋被水淹没。

2015~2017年的干旱。印尼东部许多地区遭遇干旱。雨季没有像预期的2015年12月开始,雨季推迟和随后的种植延误造成了更严重的多米诺骨牌效应。歉收季节的延长和第二次水稻种植面临旱季高峰等问题,致使作物收成大大减少。

2014年11月至12月的洪水和山体滑坡。亚齐特区多个地区受到洪水影响。亚齐省省长宣布该省进入洪水紧急状态,长达10天。约有12万人流离失所,鱼塘和农田遭到破坏。12月,中爪哇省班贾梅加拉县发生山体滑坡,造成97人死亡,超过1400人流离失所。

2013年9月至2015年11月的火山爆发。北苏门答腊卡罗区的锡纳朋火山周期性爆发,政府于2013年11月24日将火山警戒状态提升至4级(最高警戒级别)。2014年2月1日,该火山爆发,造成15人死亡,许多人流离失所。2月13日政府开始开展恢复工作,国家工作组协助境内流离失所者返回家园。到2014年12月底,火山爆发仍在继续,仍有2400人暂居在7个避难所。2015年11月,锡纳朋火山再次爆发,喷出的火山灰和熔岩顺着山坡流下,迫使约9300人无家可归。

Cyclone in November 2017. Tropical cyclone chapak hit southeastern Java, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall. In East Java province and Yogyakarta special zone, the rainfall is more than twice the normal rainfall in the same period in 2016. The cyclone caused large-scale floods and local landslides, causing serious damage.
Volcanic eruption in August 2017. The eruption of Argonne volcano in Bali, Indonesia, led to explosive eruption, pyroclastic flow, volcanic mud flow and lava flow. Dozens of minor volcanic eruptions and nearly 50 shallow earthquakes were recorded. A month later, Indonesia's Volcanology and Geological Disaster Reduction Center raised the situation level of Argonne volcano to level 4 (red alarm - danger level), and about 143000 people near the volcano were placed in the evacuation center.
Earthquake in December 2016. A 6.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in pidichaya District, Aceh Province, Sumatra island, killing 60 people and affecting 89 villages. The Indonesian Red Cross Society provided emergency response and early recovery assistance to the disaster areas.
Floods and landslides from May to July 2016. In mid May 2016, Kalimantan Province Floods and landslides occurred in (Southern, Western and central), Bengkulu and colombalo provinces. Subsequently, heavy rainfall also led to flash floods in Sabang County, West Java province. The local authorities immediately announced emergency response measures and provided basic relief assistance. According to the information of the National Disaster Management Bureau, rainfall led to floods in Sumatra, Java, Bali and parts of East Nusa Water and landslides killed about 60 people. The Bureau of meteorology, climate and Geophysics of Indonesia issued a heavy rainfall and tide warning, and the search and rescue operation ended on June 24. Heavy rainfall in mid July triggered floods in North conawe County, North Sulawesi province, resulting in the displacement of about 1350 people and the inundation of 730 houses. On July 19, more than 100 households were flooded in Solon City, West Papua province. From July 22 to 23, about 200 households in Jakarta were flooded.
Floods and landslides from August to October 2016. From August 1 to 7, about 45 houses in Ende, East Nusa Tenggara province were flooded. The local government evacuated 231 victims to an evacuation center. From August 8 to 14, floods flooded 250 houses in chamis, West Java province. From August 15 to 21, the rainstorm triggered floods and mountain torrents in many areas of East Java province. In Sukabumi County, West Java, landslides affected 386 families and destroyed rice fields and infrastructure. During this period, floods and landslides affected nearly 200000 people and damaged 4991 houses. From August 22 to 28, heavy rain caused flooding in Jakarta, affecting nearly 33000 people. The rainstorm from October 25 to 26 killed 11 people and damaged about 1500 houses in merangjin County, Jambi Province, Sumatra island. From October 29 to 31, the flood affected 15700 people, flooded about 5000 houses and killed 3 people. The local government provided temporary shelter, food, water and sanitation services.
Floods and landslides in November 2015. From November 12 to 16, heavy rains caused floods in many areas of West Java, Central Java, West Sumatra and Jakarta. In Bogor, thousands of houses were flooded.
Drought from 2015 to 2017. Many parts of eastern Indonesia are suffering from drought. The rainy season did not start as expected in December 2015, and the delay of rainy season and subsequent planting delay caused more serious domino effect. The extension of the poor harvest season and the peak of the dry season for the second rice planting have greatly reduced the crop harvest.
Floods and landslides from November to December 2014. Many areas of Aceh special zone were affected by floods. The governor of Aceh Province declared the province a flood emergency for 10 days. Some 120000 people were displaced and fish ponds and farmland were damaged. In December, a landslide occurred in banjamegala County, Central Java province, killing 97 people and displacing more than 1400 people.
Volcanic eruption in February 2014. The eruption of klude volcano led to the falling of volcanic ash on Java island. In the first few days of the eruption, about 200000 people were affected in 35 villages in Belida, jianyili and Malang areas. The governor of East Java province declared a state of emergency. The volcanic eruption killed seven people.
Volcanic eruptions from September 2013 to November 2015. The sinapun volcano in the Karo District of North Sumatra erupts periodically, The government raised the volcanic alert to level 4 on November 24, 2013 (the highest alert level). On February 1, 2014, the volcano erupted, killing 15 people and displacing many. On February 13, the government began recovery work, and the National Working Group assisted internally displaced persons to return home. By the end of December 2014, the volcanic eruption was still continuing, and 2400 people were still living in seven shelters. In November 2015, mount sinapun erupted again and spewed out fire Ash and lava flowed down the hillside, leaving about 9300 people homeless.
