文莱达鲁萨兰国（以下简称文莱），面积5765平方公里。人口45.95万（2019年），其中马来人占65.8%，华人占10.2%，其他种族占24%。马来语为国语，通用英语，华人使用华语较广泛。伊斯兰教为国教，其他还有佛教、基督教等。
首都斯里巴加湾市，位于文莱－摩拉区，面积100.36平方公里，人口约14万。
文莱全国划分为4个区：文莱－摩拉区、马来奕区、都东区、淡布隆区。
文莱位于加里曼丹岛西北部，北濒南中国海，东南西三面与马来西亚的沙捞越州接壤，并被沙捞越州的林梦分隔为东西两部分。海岸线长约162公里，有33个岛屿，沿海为平原，内地多山地。属热带雨林气候，终年炎热多雨。年均气温28℃。
文莱经济以石油天然气产业为支柱，非油气产业均不发达，主要有制造业、建筑业、金融业及农、林、渔业等。最近几年，由于油气产量下降，文莱经济增长出现停滞，而国际原油价格下滑更使文经济雪上加霜。
2019年，文莱国内生产总值约136亿美元，人均国内生产总值约2.9万美元，国内生产总值增长率3.9%。

Brunei is located in the northwest of Kalimantan island, bordering the South China Sea in the north, bordering Sarawak in Malaysia in the southeast and West, and is divided into East and west parts by lammon in Sarawak. The coastline is about 162 kilometers long, with 33 islands. The coast is plain and the mainland is mountainous. It has a tropical rain forest climate and is hot and rainy all year round. In recent years, Brunei's economic growth has stagnated due to the decline in oil and gas production, and the decline in international crude oil prices has worsened Brunei's economy.
In 2019, Brunei's GDP is about US $13.6 billion, the per capita GDP is about US $29000, and the GDP growth rate is 3.9%.
