据泰国媒体27日报道，陶公府23日以来连日遭到强降雨袭击，境内多地灾情严重，数百个村庄上万户家庭受到影响。暴雨造成该府一些河流洪水泛滥外溢，许多居民在救援人员帮助下疏散到附近的安全中心。

在洛坤府，暴雨袭击了当地海滨地区，100多座房屋遭到破坏。风暴卷起的海岸巨浪导致多处海滩及海岸道路遭到严重侵蚀。

北大年府官员称，连日强降雨引发的洪涝灾害，目前已造成该府约2800户家庭逾1.1万人受灾。

泰国国家水资源办公室官员表示，总理巴育牵挂泰南地区灾情，已下令要求政府相关部门支持受灾地区抗洪救灾，帮助受灾民众渡过难关，并采取措施完善灾区防洪水利设施。

泰国气象局当天发布预报说，未来几天，包括也拉府、普吉府、甲米府、董里府等泰南12府仍将出现大雨至特大暴雨，提醒当地民众提防河水倒灌和山洪暴发。由于强风，预计泰国湾附近海浪高达2米以上，建议所有船只谨慎出海。
